We have received reports from some customers about letters demanding money and referencing a past purchase with us. I am truly sorry this is happening and for the worry it has caused. I am currently investigating this and, unfortunately, it appears to be linked to a former employee. If you received a similar letter, please PM me your order date range, what you ordered, and which platform you used. Do not pay any requested amount.
From what we’ve been able to confirm, the letters were sent by a former employee. Years ago he used our psychedelics to get clean from his opioid addiction, and we’ve stayed in touch since then. After his recovery, he became passionate about the therapeutic and self‑development potential of psychedelics and other psychoactive substances, and eventually started helping out at the shop in various ways.
More recently, he went through a difficult divorce, suffered a relapse, and things began to unravel. I tried to support him, but I wasn’t getting through, and ultimately I had to let him go. It now appears he kept some customer addresses from that time.
Many of our customers are psychonauts who share our curiosity about rare, meaningful substances and their potential to help us understand the mind, and ourselves, more deeply. I also know many of you are here during difficult chapters in your lives. Whether you’re facing a late‑stage cancer diagnosis for yourself or someone you love, using our products alongside your therapist, or working through addiction recovery, a letter like this can hit especially hard. I’m sorry this happened. I don’t want this incident to set back your progress or shake your trust in the medicine. We will continue supporting everyone we’re already in conversation with, whether you stay with us or want help transitioning elsewhere. Your well‑being and continuity of care come first.
He left the organization in June, so if you placed an order after that, those orders are not affected. His access varied over time, and on some dates he handed more orders than on others. We’re working to map those windows as clearly as possible and your reports will help. If you received a letter, please send me a PM with it states inside, the postmark date. We are in contact with his family but have not been able to contact him yet.
